We are seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Investment Counselor / Portfolio Manager to join our team of investment professionals and client service specialists. In this role, you will manage client portfolios and deliver customized wealth management solutions designed to preserve and grow wealth across generations.
You will serve as a trusted advisor, developing holistic financial strategies and managing client relationships with care, integrity, and expertise.
Develop and implement tailored wealth management strategies to meet client goals
Design asset allocation plans and manage investment portfolios using individual equities and fixed income securities
Conduct investment research and analysis to inform client portfolios
Ensure adherence to client guidelines and manage portfolio cash flow and investment activity
Deliver proactive communication and ongoing financial advice to clients
Coordinate internally and with external professionals to address broader client needs
Collaborate with client service and planning specialists to ensure a high-touch client experience
Engage in business development, community outreach, and networking to support firm growth
7-10 years of experience in investment management or financial advisory services
Proven ability to develop and manage relationships with high- and ultra-high-net-worth clients
CFA, CFP, or MBA strongly preferred
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a small-firm environment
Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce, Orion Advisor Services, or similar platforms a plus
U.S. work authorization required
Base Salary: $140,000 - $190,000 (commensurate with experience)
